Claire is a British-Persian filmmaker from a family of storytellers, where a love of cinema runs deep. An eternal daydreamer, she brings a playful, visually distinctive style to the screen, creating work filled with charm and wonder. Her projects have earned two BAFTAs alongside numerous other awards.

Her experimental approach blends VFX with live action, moving fluidly across genres from children’s content and sport to drama and comedy.

Her first short film Take Me was officially selected for Norwich Film Festival and LIFF, followed by Bud, created for the nature-based mental health charity Mindfood. The film won Silver at the Charity Film Awards, the Shiny Award for Best Underrepresented Director, and was officially selected for Aesthetica Film Festival.

Claire is currently in pre-production on a dark comedy short inspired by her Persian heritage.
