Devon Ferguson brings his sense of humour to a punchy new spot for Old Spice

Devon Ferguson brings his trademark sense of humour to Old Spice in this light, character-led bodycare spot.

The result is a stripped-back, playful exchange that highlights the moreishness of the product while subtly positioning it as something for everyone. Ferguson keeps the tone light - the spot feels on-trend and intentional, with the product always front and centre.

Known for his sharp sense of humour, Ferguson has a knack for creating likeable, relatable characters within just a few minutes of commercial runtime.

This latest work is another neat example of his directorial taste: finding the comedy in everyday interactions while keeping the storytelling clean, concise and product-led.

Chris Fowles Captures the Importance of Togetherness in New Weber Spot

The Visionaries-repped director explores family life, fleeting moments and reunion through food in a wholesome campaign for Weber.

Chris Fowles’ latest work for Weber is a warm and quietly observant portrait of modern family life - where routines overlap, days blur together and meaningful moments can easily slip by unnoticed.

Set against the backdrop of everyday domestic demands, the film follows a busy family moving through separate rhythms and distractions before reconnecting around a shared meal. Fowles’ naturalistic direction and carefully observed performances mean that the spot becomes less about the barbecue itself and more about what it represents: carving out time for one another.

There’s a paired-back honesty to the storytelling that feels instantly recognisable. Packed schedules, passing interactions, phones, work, school runs - the film captures the small disconnects of daily life without feeling heavy-handed. Instead, it offers optimism through the idea that food will always have the power to bring people together.

Fowles balances intimacy with warmth and allows the emotion to emerge through small gestures and lived-in moments. The result is a beautifully understated piece that feels authentic, human and warmly observed.

Here’s what Chris had to say:

“The Weber film was a really enjoyable one to make and the script struck a chord with me straight away. At the time, I was living in a flat in London with no outdoor space, so the idea of slowing down and getting everyone together around a grill felt especially appealing.

One of the key creative ideas was contrasting the hectic pace of family life with the calm of cooking and eating together outside. We wanted the opening to feel textured and busy, before everything settles into a warmer, more relaxed atmosphere. Our DoP, Henry Gill, captured that contrast beautifully.

We shot the whole film in a single day in Mallorca with an incredible team. It was a brilliantly collaborative shoot, and I’m really proud of how naturally the performances, food and product all came together.”

Claire Norowzian Returns to LEGO for a Playful Celebration of Creativity in the Real World

The Visionaries-repped director brings her signature warmth and comic touch to the launch of the LEGO Play App

Claire Norowzian is back with LEGO - and this time she's making the case that creativity and technology go hand in hand. Her spot for the launch of the LEGO Play App follows three kids discovering what the app can do - one personalises his dog in front of his eyes, another brings a LEGO toy to life beside her, a third transforms her bedroom in real time. The world around them bends and shifts, and they're right in the middle of it - phones in hand, feet on the ground.

Parents, don't worry. This is what healthy screen time looks like. Norowzian brings her characteristic warmth and precision to the whole thing - the VFX are seamless, the performances are natural and unforced, and the whole thing has the kind of light comic touch that makes it an absolute joy to watch.

Here’s what Claire has to say:

Working with Lego is always a joy, and this one was all about building kid-curated worlds. Playful, stylised mixed-media spaces bursting with energy and imagination, straight out of the Lego Play App. I wanted to capture that fizzy rush kids get when they’re in full creative flow, turning the everyday into something a bit magical. With Chris & Tom at Vince, VFX maestros Televisor, and the rest of the dream team, we made something properly playful’.

Phil Hawkins Unleashes the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles into the Magic: The Gathering Universe - and It's Totally Radical

The Visionaries-repped director unites two of pop culture's most iconic cult properties for the first time

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles have entered the Magic: The Gathering universe - and they've made themselves very much at home. Phil Hawkins' spot for Wizards of the Coast sees the gang burst into the Magic offices, help design their own cards, flex in front of the illustrator drawing them and - naturally - retrofit a van with a pizza catapult. High fives, chaos and a lot of pizza ensue. Cowabunga.

Produced by Eyebolls, with animation direction from Tony Cervone, it's a technically demanding blend of live action and hand-drawn 2D animation - the vivid colours of the Turtles' world pulling seamlessly into the real one. But Phil never loses sight of what makes the Turtles the Turtles - the whole thing has an irresistible looseness to it, and you can feel everyone involved having an absolute blast.

Phil Hawkins Unleashes the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles into the Magic: The Gathering Universe - and It's Totally Radical

Here’s what Phil had to say about the project:
"We always imagined that the 'what if' of Turtles existing and collaborating with the Wizards on these cards was totally real - and we didn't want or need to explain why they're animated. It's just the way the world of the film works.

"We wanted to bring the heightened style and comedic tone of the Turtles to match the genuine enthusiasm of the Wizards without cynicism. The film is a celebration of a collaboration that's been a long time coming, so we really made it for the fans.

"From a performance perspective, I really did just treat the Turtles like living and breathing actors throughout the whole process.”

Anthony Rubinstein Returns to McCain for a Gloriously Camp Ode to Fancy Chips

The Visionaries-repped director reunites with Omnicom for a playful new spot for McCain's Gastro Chips

McCain's Gastro Chips aren't your average oven chip. They're the gastropub brought into the kitchen - thick, golden and just a little bit indulgent. No wonder, when a couple sit down to eat them, they can't help themselves: "Ooh, fancy." And the room agrees - the family photos animating on the walls, a magazine cover joining in, the whole space bathed in the kind of warm, saturated orange that makes everything feel a bit more luxurious than a Tuesday night normally would.

Rubinstein - on his second McCain's job with Omnicom - is right in his element here. The VFX are seamless, the performances are dynamic, and the whole thing has the kind of light comic touch that's harder to pull off than it looks.

Anthony Rubinstein Returns to McCain for a Gloriously Camp Ode to Fancy Chips

Here’s what Anthony had to say about the project:
We had some fun cooking this up for McCain, this is the second product ad I’ve done for them and it was all about balancing the frame tricks, cosy vibes and fancy fun without going too silly or absurd. A nice little spot for a wholesome brand.

Tom Brown's Magical New Spot for McDonald's x Super Mario Galaxy

The Visionaries-repped director delivers a magical live action and animation blend in McDonald's latest spot in partnership with the new animated Mario film.

What's inside a Happy Meal? Some nuggets? A Mario keychain?

In this spot, produced by Prodigious, a girl sat at a picnic bench with her parents is about to find out it's rather more than that. Her bag glows. She sticks her head in - and suddenly she's in the Mario Galaxy, leaping between planets alongside our favourite little moustached plumber. When we pull back, her parents are there too, the whole family now sitting on a Mario-esque planet of their own - a neat tie-in to The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, out in cinemas now.

Blending live action and animation is territory Brown knows well, and he brings his characteristic warmth and precision to it here - making two worlds magically feel like one.

Tom Brown's Magical New Spot for McDonald's x Super Mario Galaxy

Here’s what Tom had to say about the project:

‘This was a supercool co-production between McDonald's, Universal Studios, Nintendo and the amazing animators over at Illumination.

Since the live-action needed to merge with the CG Mario World being created, we used a motion-control rig to match our Happy Meal family to the tiny planet pull out, meaning they could end up sitting right on top of it like the iconic opening moment of the original game.

Our star,  Ruby Aurora-Wallin, was superb - really bringing her A game as she marvelled at magical Happy Meal boxes and the crazy worlds inside.

And huge credit is due  to Charles Whiteway and his art direction team who did a beautiful job approximating a Mario Galaxy style picnic scene so that the worlds could sit together seamlessly on screen.’
