James Kayler is a BAFTA, Broadcast Award and National Reality TV Award-winning comedy director, working across commercials, television and entertainment, known for blending sharp comedic instincts with naturalistic performance and character-led storytelling.

James directed the award-winning Tango Peach Police campaign, which won at the Media Week Awards 2023. His commercial work spans leading brands including Arla, Avios, Diageo, Lays, Sky, Tottenham Hotspur and Müller, bringing a strong performance-led and character-driven approach to comedic storytelling.

James has a consistent focus on grounded, character-led performance and finding humour in authenticity. With a background in both scripted and reality television, he developed a strong foundation in structured storytelling before moving into commercials and branded content.
