The Visionaries-repped director brings her signature warmth and comic touch to the launch of the LEGO Play App
Claire Norowzian is back with LEGO - and this time she's making the case that creativity and technology go hand in hand. Her spot for the launch of the LEGO Play App follows three kids discovering what the app can do - one personalises his dog in front of his eyes, another brings a LEGO toy to life beside her, a third transforms her bedroom in real time. The world around them bends and shifts, and they're right in the middle of it - phones in hand, feet on the ground.
Parents, don't worry. This is what healthy screen time looks like. Norowzian brings her characteristic warmth and precision to the whole thing - the VFX are seamless, the performances are natural and unforced, and the whole thing has the kind of light comic touch that makes it an absolute joy to watch.
Here’s what Claire has to say:
‘Working with Lego is always a joy, and this one was all about building kid-curated worlds. Playful, stylised mixed-media spaces bursting with energy and imagination, straight out of the Lego Play App. I wanted to capture that fizzy rush kids get when they’re in full creative flow, turning the everyday into something a bit magical. With Chris & Tom at Vince, VFX maestros Televisor, and the rest of the dream team, we made something properly playful’.
